Would you like some soil?

A handful of soil contains more organisms than there are people on the planet. The world underneath our feet is a complex set of relations between bacteria, fungi, plants and animals. That diverse system is what feeds and sustains us. Wanting to remind us of this important relation between humans and soil, Ada and Kuba explore if we can bring the earth back into our eating habits. 

The plant-based 5-course menu is prepared by Jakub Ziemann, chef working at Michelin-starred restaurant ÓX. The food is served on single-use raw soil tableware and ceramics coloured with local soils, handmade by ceramic designer Ada Stanczak.
